The Royal Canadian Mint honors the rich symbolism of the maple leaf on this unique 9999 pure, 2 oz, brilliant uncirculated coin! This coin features several of the Royal Canadian Mint’s innovative anti-counterfeiting measures, such as a micro-engraved privy mark, and light-refracting radial lines which also enhance the beauty of this coin.

The reverse features a depiction of two interlocked sugar maple leaves, which have been engraved with meticulous attention to detail.  The maple leaf is brought to life with texturing applied throughout, and light-refracting properties, contributing to an almost three-dimensional quality. A privy mark with the year of issue is engraved within the field, with an encapsulating ring, adorned with micro-radial lines, the nation of issue, denomination, and purity.

The obverse contains Susanna Blunt’s contemporary effigy of her majesty, Queen Elizabeth II, over a field of radial lines.
